Ping.fm gets a redesign courtesy of yours truly (that's me)
I was honored to work with Sean (@seamoss) on the redesign of his totally awesome startup at ping.fm (@pingfm). It was an honor to even be considered for the task.
I've talked about ping.fm a few times already on my site; I'm totally sold on the service (yes, I would pay monthly for it). If you are active in several different social networking sites and you update them all manually, I think ping.fm will save you a lot of time. Ping.fm showed the foresight to give you a way to add custom "Triggers" so you can send different updates to different sites. Brilliant.
Sean gave me creative freedom but to keep it simple most of the core structure was left in place. For instance the dashboard, the structure (services along the side, area where you post) was left in the same place. From a user standpoint I hate going to a site to find that the "redesign" includes a complete change in the way I navigate and use the site. I scaled the site a bit, added a little dimension and overall freshened it up.
Ok enough chatter, go check it out! and check out the ping.fm blog entry concerning the redesign.

Normally I'm apprehensive about a service I'm enjoying being redesigned, more often than not it gets worse, not better. However, you really know your craft, you did a good job with Ping.fm. It looks and works better.
Oh, and I love this site, very unique and awesome. As a fellow web designer, it's nice to appreciate a superb design. -
