I can count on a single hand how many times in my life I have been that exhausted. The arches of my feet literally felt as if they were going to break apart. They hurt every time I had to shift gears on the way home. My hip joints and knees were pulsating in pain and my arm/neck was stiff from carrying my 10 pound camera all day and night. I laid down in my bed thinking "ah i'll just rest for a second and then get ready for bed"... 10 hours later I woke up in a daze. We were so tired we didn't even load the 11GB and nearly 1500 images on to my computer. Now THAT's tired!
BUT... the wedding was awesome. The reception was awesome. Everything was awesome. The wedding party on both sides were really easy to shoot. Many of them came up with great ideas for different poses. A few of the groomsmen were trained mimes and all were extremely photogenic .The bridesmaids were all very sweet and equally as photogenic. Dave and Susie were both cool as cucumbers, it was really amazing.
My wife Sarah who is now an integral part of my our business was right on point the entire night. She was supportive at times and took charge at times. She nailed down the organization of the entire day, most importantly the group shots with the two families. Most importantly she nailed some REALLY good shots, we were high fiving the entire time we reviewed the photos today. I think it would be safe to say that these will be some of the best images yet. Now for the hardest part, processing .....
