Spring is here

Well it's time for my official spring is here post but I fear that by doing so I may experience more raining slush like I did yesterday. Hinging on what I hear and read online has lead me to go ahead and do it, it's supposed to get nice this week.

This photo is of a tree in my front yard. I wish I knew what kind it was, anybody know?

I don't know what kind of tree it is, but it's lovely! We have a dogwood in our front yard, but it hasn't bloomed yet. It didn't bloom last year at all because just as it was about to, we had a frost.
