Schlafly - Series of 10

05.17.2007     Comments     Related     Additional Photos
I'm forcing myself to start a new series. I'm going to try my hardest to do this once a week. Pick 1 object or 1 theme and in one brief session come up with 10 images. I thought hey, why not start with my favorite beverage? Schlafly!

I know that seems simple but it's a starting point. Hopefully it's a good exercise.

Please note that no beers were harmed during this photo shoot. The one beer which had the bottle cap removed was fully consumed, no worries.

This summer Kolsch is my fave Schlafly of all time. Too bad it is only avail. part of the yr.

I have to say I'm a number 15 kinda guy. I know the great lengths Schlafly goes through to make sure the beer is fresh, e.g - not distributing further than 4 hours away in most cases - but the Number 15 just doesn't taste the same out of the bottle. You really have to get that stuff on tap, mmmm!

Also, it's good to note that before Schlafly came along I was an import drinker. Mainly Heineken, Grolsch and Ayinger.

BUT, supporting a local company that makes delicious beer like this is a no brainer. It's so good my wife drinks it, and that says a lot.

:-) Thanks Connie! ... I would love to sell prints. One of my goals is to get print pricing sorted out, I wouldn't expect to sell a ton of prints but if there was a photo that really meant something to someone, they'd consider buying one. I think that'd be great.
