Project: Rick Roll URL Checker

Well it seems that Rick Rolling has reared it's ugly head again, at least in IRC. So I thought I'd take a few minutes (10 to be exact) and write up a little "Rick Roll Checker".

Fighting Rick, one roll at a time

Simply enter a URL and the Rick Roll Checker will view the page for you. This brave tool stands in the way to let you know if you were almost rick rolled or not. Go ahead, give it a try!

Note: It's a quick build, so if you point it to a URL that even mentions rick rolling you will get a false alarm. That's okay, I erred on the side of caution. You know, to protect you. :-)

On the advice from @robloach you can also pass a URL parameter with the full URL you want to check. For instance:

http://jyoseph.com/projects/rick-roll-checker/?url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU

Just append the URL parameter like so: ?url=http://URLToCheck.com
